Twitter took to the set of Good Morning America today to unveil its long-rumored standalone music service. Aptly dubbed “Twitter #music,” the service provides a new way of discovering music by detecting trending artists and allowing users to see the listening choices and recommendations of their friends and followers. Pulling music from Rdio, Spotify and iTunes, the app offers four separate tabs for your listening pleasure: Suggested, #NowPlaying, Popular and Emerging. Twitter #music is now available online as a web platform and as an app for iOS devices via iTunes.
